The AWTOOLS AW68014 tarpaulin is a heavy-duty cover manufactured from HDPE cross-woven fabric with LDPE lamination on both sides. Designed to provide reliable protection against wind, rain and UV exposure, this tarpaulin balances strength and flexibility while remaining lightweight at approximately 4.97 kg. Reinforced edges and integrated eyelets make it suitable for repeated outdoor use and for fastening during transport or storage.
The tarpaulin features heat-sealed edges with eyelets placed every 1 metre and a sewn-in rope reinforcement to improve tear resistance and maintain secure fastening under load. The laminated surface provides waterproofing and makes the material easy to clean, while UV stabilization and mould resistance extend useful life when exposed to sunlight and damp conditions. Its construction ensures a stable, durable cover that resists fraying and punctures common in woven fabrics.
Place the tarpaulin over the item to be protected and align the eyelets with anchor points or tie-downs. Use rope, straps or bungee cords threaded through the eyelets and secured to fixed points to prevent movement in wind. For full waterproofing, ensure the laminated sides cover vulnerable areas and avoid sharp edges that may puncture the fabric. Clean the surface with mild detergent and water when necessary and allow to dry before folding and storing.
For prolonged outdoor service, avoid constant contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces and regularly inspect eyelets and edge reinforcements. Fold and store the tarpaulin dry in a ventilated area to prevent mould growth and extend product life.
