AWTools AW68019 Tarpaulin 1000 x 1500 cm 70 g/m2
The AWTools AW68019 tarpaulin is a versatile and durable protective cover measuring 1000 x 1500 cm. Engineered from high-density polyethylene cross-weaving fabric and laminated on both sides with low-density polyethylene, this cover offers a reliable barrier against environmental elements. With a material density of 70 g/m2, it provides an effective balance between lightweight handling and robust protection for various applications in construction, agriculture, and home maintenance.
This tarpaulin features heat-sealed edges with integrated rope reinforcement, significantly increasing its resistance to tearing and mechanical stress. The inclusion of metal eyelets spaced every meter allows for secure and convenient fastening in diverse conditions. Its construction is inherently waterproof, mould-resistant, and UV-stabilized, ensuring longevity even when exposed to direct sunlight or heavy precipitation. The material is easy to clean and maintain, making it a practical choice for repeated use in demanding environments.
This tarpaulin is designed for general-purpose protection and may not be suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications requiring high-puncture resistance or extreme tear strength. Due to its 70 g/m2 density, it is not intended for long-term permanent roofing or structural applications where high-tensile loads are expected.
To use the tarpaulin, unfold it completely over the object or area you wish to protect. Ensure the surface is free of sharp, protruding objects that could puncture the material. Use the integrated eyelets to secure the cover firmly using ropes, bungee cords, or cable ties to prevent it from being displaced by wind. When covering items, ensure there is adequate ventilation to prevent condensation buildup underneath the sheet.
For maximum durability, avoid dragging the tarpaulin over rough or abrasive surfaces. When not in use, clean the surface with water, allow it to dry completely, and store it in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the lamination.
