Plandeka AWTools 1000 × 2000 cm, 90 g/m² by AWTools is a large rectangular tarpaulin designed to provide lightweight, wide-area protection for outdoor and storage applications. Made from a woven polyethylene fabric with a reported weight of 90 g/m², the sheet offers a balance between low weight and surface coverage for protecting equipment, vehicles, building materials and goods from rain, dirt and sun. The tarp’s dimensions make it suitable for covering pallets, stacks of materials, small vehicles and temporary shelters where a large single-piece cover is needed.
The tarpaulin combines a low fabric weight with extensive coverage, enabling easier handling and transport compared with heavier covers. Its woven polyethylene construction provides resistance to tearing and basic water shedding while remaining flexible for folding and storage. The large dimensions reduce the need for multiple smaller covers and seams, simplifying protection tasks during storage, transport and site work.
Place the tarpaulin over the item or area to be protected, ensuring full coverage of exposed surfaces. Secure the edges by fastening to anchor points, tying down with rope or straps, or using weights along the perimeter to prevent wind lift. When covering stacked materials, arrange the sheet so water can run off without pooling; avoid placing sharp objects directly against the fabric to reduce risk of puncture. After use, clean off loose dirt, allow to dry if wet, fold neatly and store in a dry place away from prolonged sunlight to extend service life.
For prolonged outdoor exposure or high-wind applications, consider additional fixing points and overlap between multiple sheets. Avoid exposure to concentrated heat sources or open flame. Inspect for damage regularly and repair small tears promptly to maintain protective function.
