Tarpaulin AWTools AW68067, waterproof cover, weight 2.43 kg
AWTools AW68067 tarpaulin is a waterproof cover made from HDPE cross-woven fabric, laminated on both sides with LDPE plastic. With a product weight of 2.43 kg, it is engineered for general-purpose protection of goods and equipment from rain, wind, UV exposure and dirt. The tarp features heat-sealed edges with eyelets every 1 metre and a sewn-in rope reinforcement to improve resistance to tearing and to secure the cover in place.
The tarpaulin combines laminated HDPE fabric and LDPE coating to provide a waterproof, UV-resistant and mould-resistant surface that is simple to clean. Reinforced, heat-sealed edges with integrated eyelets and a sewn rope increase mechanical strength and allow secure fastening during storage or transport. The material’s lightweight construction relative to its protective properties makes the cover practical to handle and position.
Place the AWTools AW68067 tarpaulin over the object to be protected so that it fully covers the surface and extends past vulnerable edges. Align eyelets with anchor points or stakes and thread rope or bungee cords through the eyelets to secure the tarp against wind. For transport use, ensure the tarp is tensioned and fastened at multiple points to prevent flapping. After use, clean off dirt with water and mild detergent, allow to dry, fold neatly and store in a dry place.
For prolonged outdoor exposure, periodically check fastenings and the condition of the rope reinforcement and eyelets. Avoid direct contact with sharp objects that can puncture the laminated surface. When storing, keep the tarpaulin dry and away from prolonged UV exposure to maintain material life.
