The Axagon ADM2-CM is a compact USB-C adapter for M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs with a fixed 10 cm cable and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) interface. It supports UASP, TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, allows hot-plug connection and provides plug-and-play operation for computers, notebooks, tablets and compatible mobile devices. The small plastic housing (55 x 37 x 12 mm, 19 g) is designed to allow adequate heat dissipation and avoid thermal throttling while working with modern M.2 drives.

Advantages

The adapter supports both NVMe (PCIe) and SATA M.2 SSDs (M key and B+M key) without capacity or length limitations, and accepts one-sided and double-sided modules. Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, theoretical throughput is up to 10 Gbit/s, with practical transfer rates around 1000 MB/s. The device offers UASP for faster transfers on supported systems, TRIM support to preserve SSD performance, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring and an LED indicator for connection and data activity. Power is supplied via a single USB port (up to 900 mA), and the adapter is compatible with a wide range of operating systems.
