The Axagon ADSA-FP2C is a compact USB-C to SATA adapter for 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. It features a permanently attached 20 cm USB-C cable and uses the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface with transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps. The slim matte housing allows quick drive insertion and replacement without assembly and reduces visible fingerprints.

Advantages

The adapter supports UASP for improved transfer performance, TRIM to limit SSD performance degradation, S.M.A.R.T. for drive health monitoring and BOOT to enable booting from a drive connected via the adapter. It also offers Auto Spindown and Turn Off functions to save power and protect drives, Hot Plug and full Plug & Play operation, and USB bus power delivery so most drives run from a single USB port. A status LED indicates power and data activity.

How to use

Connect the 2.5" SATA drive to the adapter’s SATA connector, then plug the integrated 20 cm USB-C cable into a compatible USB-C port on the computer. The device supports Hot Plug and is recognized automatically via Plug & Play. If using an SSD, the adapter supports TRIM and UASP; the drive can also be used as a boot device if the system firmware supports USB booting. The LED shows power and blinks during data transfer.
