The AXAGON ADSA-FP3FASTport3 is a universal all-in-one USB 3.0 to SATA 6G adapter that enables easy connection of any SATA disk or optical drive. It supports 2.5" HDD/SSD, 3.5" hard disks and 5.25" optical CD, DVD or Blu-ray drives and is compatible with SATA, SATA II and SATA III interfaces, allowing use of modern SSD speeds and access to S.M.A.R.T. information for disk condition monitoring.

Advantages

The adapter provides USB 3.0 performance with backward compatibility to USB 2.0, plug-and-play installation and hot-plug support. It can boot from drives connected through the adapter, supports automatic HDD spindown and power-off functions, and supplies 2.5" drives directly from the USB bus while including an external 12V/2.2A power adapter for 3.5" drives and optical units. A blue LED indicates power and data activity.
