Heatsink/Radiator Axagon CLR-M2L10

AXAGON CLR-M2L10 is a passive black aluminum heatsink designed for effective cooling of high-performance M.2 SSDs, including NVMe drives. The universal cooler fits M.2 cards sized 22 x 80 mm and includes two thermally conductive pads that enable installation on both single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSDs. The 10 mm high ribbed profile improves heat dissipation and can lower drive temperature by up to 25 °C, reducing the risk of thermal throttling and helping prolong SSD lifespan. Compact dimensions and simple installation make it suitable for use with M.2 AXAGON adapters as well as motherboard M.2 (NGFF) slots.

Advantages

How to use

Clean the SSD surface, apply the supplied thermally conductive pad(s) to the drive in accordance with whether the SSD is single- or double-sided, position the heatsink over the M.2 module, and secure it with the provided mounting material. Ensure the heatsink sits flat against the SSD surface for optimal thermal contact. Install the M.2 module with heatsink into the adapter or motherboard M.2 slot following the motherboard or adapter instructions.

Usage recommendations

For best results, verify that the M.2 slot has sufficient clearance for the 10 mm heatsink height and ensure air can circulate within the case. Combine thermal pads when needed to achieve full contact with double-sided modules. Avoid obstructing nearby components and follow antistatic precautions during installation.
