The Axagon CRE-S3 is an external USB-A SuperSpeed card reader with an aluminum housing and three slots for CF, SD and microSD cards. It connects via USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly USB 3.0) and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. The reader supports SDXC and microSDXC cards up to 2 TB and CompactFlash cards up to 128 PB, and it appears as three logical drives in the file manager for simultaneous access to all slots.

Advantages

The reader provides significantly higher transfer speeds compared with USB 2.0 models, with UHS-II support allowing up to 156 MB/s full-duplex (or 312 MB/s half-duplex) and UHS-I support up to 104 MB/s. How to use

Connect the Axagon CRE-S3 to a computer’s USB Type-A port using the fixed cable. The operating system will detect the reader automatically and install drivers if required; the reader is bus-powered and does not require an external power supply.
