Axagon EE25-GTR is a ribbed aluminium external enclosure for one 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD, providing a USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) connection via a reversible USB-C port. The package includes a 60 cm USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter for compatibility with different host ports. The aluminium body and internal frame secure and help cool the drive while rubber feet reduce movement on flat surfaces.

Advantages

The enclosure supports the full speed of 2.5" SSDs over USB 3.2 Gen 2 and offers approximately 20% higher transfer rates compared with typical USB 3.2 Gen 1 boxes. It supports TRIM to prevent gradual SSD performance degradation, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring for drive health, UASP for faster transfers on Windows 8 and later, hot-plug, plug-and-play operation and automatic HDD spindown and turn-off functions. A status LED indicates power and data transfer activity.
