Description

Fast external AXAGON EEM2-UB2 ARROW box with USB 10Gbps interface for M.2 NVMe SSDs. The double-sided USB-C connector on the box enables a reliable connection and a USB-C to USB-C cable is included for connection to a computer. The aluminum housing and thermal pad improve heat dissipation to maintain performance and extend drive life. The enclosure supports single- and double-sided M.2 NVMe drives in lengths 2242, 2260 and 2280 and does not limit SSD capacity.

Advantages

The enclosure delivers up to 10 Gbit/s via USB 3.2 Gen 2 and supports UASP, TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring. It accepts M-key or B+M-key NVMe M.2 SSDs, offers hot-plug and full plug-and-play functionality, and includes three different standoffs (42, 60, 80 mm) for easy mounting. A single screw enables quick access for installing or replacing the SSD, and the metal body reduces fingerprints while aiding cooling.

How to use

Open the enclosure by removing the single securing screw, place the M.2 NVMe SSD into the M-key slot, secure it with the appropriate standoff for the chosen length (42/60/80 mm) and fasten the screw. Connect the enclosure to your computer or compatible device using the included USB-C to USB-C cable. The device is bus-powered and requires no external power supply. After connection the enclosure is detected by supported operating systems and can be used for file transfer, backup, booting an OS (if supported by the host), or diagnostics.

Usage recommendations

Ensure the SSD is compatible with NVMe (M-key or B+M-key) and the chosen host device supports booting from external NVMe if you intend to boot. Allow airflow around the aluminum enclosure during sustained heavy use to aid cooling and avoid thermal throttling.
