The AXAGON PCEA-P1N is an internal PCI-Express parallel adapter that adds one DB25 parallel port to a desktop PC. It enables connection of parallel devices such as printers, plotters, hardware keys and EPROM programmers. The adapter uses the ASIX AX99100 chipset and includes a low-profile bracket so it can be installed in both standard and slim PC cases.

Advantages

The card provides a reliable IEEE 1284-compliant DB25 female connector with SPP/BYTE/ECP compatibility and supports up to 1.5 MB/s transmission rate for legacy parallel devices. It is compatible with PCI-Express x1 slots (and larger x4/x8/x16 slots) and conforms to PCI-Express 2.0 standards. Plug and Play support and PCI power management (including ASPM) simplify installation and power handling.
