Description

The AXAGON PCEM2-XS internal adapter enables installation of an NVMe M.2 SSD into a desktop computer via a PCI-Express slot. It supports single-sided and double-sided NVMe (PCIe) M.2 drives up to 22x80 mm (2280) and provides passive cooling through a ribbed aluminium cover and thermal pads to improve heat dissipation. The adapter is powered directly from the PCIe bus and offers plug-and-play operation with no additional drivers required.

Advantages

The adapter supports PCI-Express versions up to 5.0 and works in x4/x8/x16 slots, allowing maximum transfer speeds from NVMe SSDs. Its aluminium heatsink with supplied thermal conductive pads cools both sides of the M.2 drive, improving reliability under load. LED indication shows connection and data transfer status. How to use

Turn off and unplug the PC, insert the AXAGON PCEM2-XS into a free PCIe x4/x8/x16 slot and secure it. Place the NVMe M.2 SSD into the M-key slot at the correct angle and fasten it with the supplied mounting screw. Apply the supplied thermal pads between the drive and the aluminium heatsink, then attach the ribbed cover to ensure contact with the pads. Reassemble the PC, power it on and verify LED indication for connection. Install or configure your operating system to recognize the new NVMe drive if required.
