Cable splitter Axing TZU 40-03
The Axing TZU 40-03 is a metallic cable splitter for distribution of RF and RF-modulated IP signals across the 2–2200 MHz frequency range. It includes F and EOC connectors, a high-pass filter, and a fixed tap loss of 4 dB. The compact metal housing (55 × 34 × 18 mm) is suitable for installation in residential and commercial coaxial networks where reliable signal splitting and IP-over-coax feed-in are required.
The TZU 40-03 offers sturdy metallic construction for good shielding and durability, a wide frequency range (2–2200 MHz) that supports modern TV and broadband signals, and a defined tap loss of 4 dB for predictable signal levels. An integrated high-pass filter reduces undesired low-frequency interference, and F/EOC connector compatibility allows use with common coax and EoC equipment.
Install the Axing TZU 40-03 inline with existing coaxial cabling by connecting the input to the feed source and the outputs to downstream coax runs using the F and EOC connectors. Ensure connectors are tightened securely and observe proper grounding practices. The unit’s high-pass filter and 4 dB tap loss are fixed; no user adjustments are required. Position the splitter in a dry, ventilated location and avoid mechanical strain on connector cables.
The splitter should be used within the specified 2–2200 MHz range and with compatible F/EOC equipment. When integrating RF-modulated IP signals, verify that connected devices support Ethernet over Coax standards and check signal levels after installation to confirm acceptable reception. For long cable runs or multiple splits, consider the cumulative attenuation and, if necessary, use amplification or adjust the network layout.
