Ceiling/Floor Plate B-Tech BT7822/B Heavy Duty for Ø50mm Poles
Ceiling/Floor Plate B-Tech BT7822/B Heavy Duty for Ø50mm Poles
The B-Tech BT7822/B Heavy Duty Ceiling/Floor Plate is a steel mounting plate engineered for Ø50mm poles and designed to secure poles to ceilings or floors. Manufactured from 6mm thick steel and finished in black, this single-unit mounting plate provides a stable interface for AV poles used in flat screen and projector installations. The product supports substantial loads and includes integrated cable routing, multiple grub screws for precise pole alignment, an internal end stop for safe floor mounting and a cover plate to conceal fixings. A safety bolt is supplied to enhance installation security.
The 6mm heavy duty steel construction offers high rigidity and long-term durability while the matte black finish minimizes visual distraction in AV environments. Multiple grub screws maintain the pole in a perpendicular position under load, reducing the need for on-site adjustments. Integrated cable management enables tidy routing from the top or side of the mount, and the internal end stop simplifies safe handling during installation. The included cover plate and safety bolt provide a neat appearance and added safety for both ceiling and floor installations.
Position the BT7822/B plate at the chosen ceiling or floor location, mark mounting holes and secure the plate using suitable fixings for the substrate (fixings not included). Insert the Ø50 mm pole into the plate and align it perpendicular to the surface. Tighten the multiple grub screws to lock the pole in place and prevent rotation under load. Route AV cables through the top or side opening as needed. When floor mounting, ensure the internal end stop engages to prevent the pole sliding through during installation. Fit the cover plate to conceal fixings and secure the safety bolt to provide an additional retention point.
Use appropriate anchors and fixings for the mounting surface (concrete, timber or plasterboard) and confirm that the combined load of the pole and attached equipment does not exceed the 150 kg capacity. For installations involving multiple screens or dynamic loads, verify fixings and pole alignment after initial setup and periodically during use. If in doubt, consult a professional installer to ensure safe and compliant installation.
