Description

The Bachmann VENID desk connection panel combines a slim anodised aluminium profile with a compact power extension module designed for indoor use. The unit integrates into the desktop surface so the panel and original desktop material form a single installation. A 0.2 m cable with GST18 plug is provided and the module includes one recessed Type F socket outlet with earth contact, shuttered and set at a 35° angle. The tray and mounting frame are available separately so existing cable duct systems can be used.

Advantages

Integrated into the work surface, VENID provides a tidy and low-profile solution that allows cables to be routed and stored in the tray. The foldable cover opens in either direction and permits side cable routing. Two power strips can be placed inside the tray and configured individually. The supplied mounting bracket and compact dimensions (approx. 229 mm width) simplify installation in meeting rooms, offices and other indoor work environments.

How to use

Cut out or prepare the desktop material to the dimensions of the mounting frame, insert the original desktop into the frame and secure it with the supplied mounting bracket. Connect the 0.2 m GST18 cable to the building feed and place the power strip into the tray. Route used cables into the tray and close the foldable cover; the cover opens in both directions to allow side routing of cables.

Usage recommendations

Install the VENID panel following local electrical regulations and, if required, use a qualified electrician for connection to the building power supply. Verify the dimensions of the mounting frame and desktop cut-out before installation. Do not use outdoors or in wet areas.
