Cable tray cover Baks PKL300/3 300 mm width, 3 m length, 0.7 mm thickness
Baks PKL300/3 is a metal cable tray cover engineered for 300 mm wide cable trays. With a length of 3 m and a sheet thickness of 0.7 mm, this cover provides a continuous protective top for tray runs, reducing exposure of routed cables to dust, debris and accidental contact while maintaining a flat, finished surface. The design is intended for use with compatible Baks tray systems where a covered routing solution is required in industrial and commercial installations.
The 0.7 mm metal construction offers mechanical protection and dimensional stability along long runs without significant weight. A 3 m length reduces the number of joints and installation time for long routes. The cover creates a clean visual appearance and helps contain dust and small particles, improving cable hygiene and facilitating maintenance access when removed. Compatible geometry with Baks trays ensures consistent fit and alignment.
Position the cover onto the cable tray so that the edges align with the tray flanges; ensure the cover rests evenly along its full length. Secure the cover according to the tray system’s recommended fastening method so it does not shift during operation. To access cables for inspection or maintenance, remove the cover sections sequentially starting from the nearest access point, then replace and fasten them after work is completed.
For prolonged service life, apply appropriate corrosion protection if the cover is used in humid or corrosive environments, and follow the tray manufacturer’s guidance for load-bearing and fastening intervals. When cutting or drilling the metal, deburr edges and protect the exposed metal to maintain mechanical integrity and safety.
