The BALLARINI Salina 16 cm saucepan with glass lid is a compact, everyday cookware item designed for preparing small portions. It features a 1.4 L capacity, a round 16 cm diameter and a grey granite-style finish by Studio Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez. The pan is forged from solid aluminium for fast, even heating and is compatible with induction hobs thanks to its radiant induction base.
The saucepan has a 6-ply GRANITIUM Ti-X non-stick coating with an additional titanium layer that provides high scratch resistance and easy food release. The solid aluminium construction ensures rapid heat-up and uniform heat distribution. The included glass lid allows monitoring while cooking, and the cookware is dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning.
Place the saucepan on a cooktop and heat over medium to low heat for even cooking. Use wooden, silicone or plastic utensils to avoid damaging the non-stick coating. When preparing sauces or desserts, lower the heat once boiling point is reached and simmer covered with the glass lid for the required time. After use, allow the pan to cool slightly before washing; the saucepan is suitable for dishwasher cleaning but hand washing will help prolong the coating life.
For best results, avoid overheating an empty pan and do not use metal scrubbing pads. Use moderate heat settings on induction hobs and store the pan without stacking heavy items on its coated surface.
