Pannier Bag Basil Tour Single Right 14L, Hook-On System, Waterproof, Black

The Basil Tour Single Right 14L is a waterproof pannier bag designed to attach to the right side of compatible rear racks using a Hook-On mounting system. With a 14-litre capacity it offers space for everyday items such as groceries, work essentials or cycling gear while keeping contents protected from rain and splash. The bag is finished in black and is intended for riders who need a compact, weather-resistant luggage solution on the right side of the bicycle.

Advantages

The Hook-On mounting system allows quick attachment and removal from compatible racks while providing a secure hold during rides. Waterproof construction shields contents from moisture and light rain, and the 14 L volume balances carrying capacity with a compact profile that does not interfere with pedaling. The bag's streamlined shape and single-side design make it simple to position and access from the right side.

Suitable for

• Commuting with daily essentials (laptop sleeve, documents, lunch)
• Short grocery runs and market shopping
• Urban cycling and light touring where a single-side pannier is sufficient
• Riders who require a right-side-specific luggage option

When it may not be suitable

This single right-side pannier is not intended to replace larger touring luggage or a matched pair of panniers; if you need balanced load distribution for long-distance touring, two panniers are preferable. The 14 L capacity may be insufficient for full-day excursions requiring multiple changes of clothing or bulky equipment.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 14 litres
• Side: right-side pannier
• Mounting: Hook-On rack attachment system
• Material property: waterproof construction
• Colour: black

How to use

Slide the pannier's Hook-On fittings onto a compatible rear rack rail until the locking mechanism engages. Adjust position so the bag sits securely and does not rub the wheel or interfere with the chain. To remove, release the hook latch and lift the bag off the rack. Load items evenly inside the bag to maintain balance; heavier items should be positioned low and close to the bike frame. Close all fastenings before riding to ensure water protection.

What to consider before purchase

• Compatibility of your rear rack with Hook-On mounting systems
• Whether a single right-side pannier meets your load and balance needs
• Required waterproofing level for your typical weather conditions
• Available capacity (14 L) relative to the items you usually carry

Usage recommendations

For stable riding, distribute weight between front and rear or use a second pannier on the left side when carrying heavier loads. Regularly check the Hook-On attachment for secure engagement and inspect seams and closures to maintain waterproof performance.
