Basil rear bicycle basket Cento Neo 21L MultiSystem NX, sand

The Basil rear bicycle basket Cento Neo 21L MultiSystem NX in sand is a rack-mounted cargo solution for commuter and city bikes. Designed to attach to a standard rear luggage rack using the MultiSystem NX mounting interface, this basket provides a 21-litre carrying volume suitable for daily errands, grocery shopping and light transport. The neutral sand finish integrates with a range of bike colours and styles while the open-top design allows easy access to contents.

Advantages

The Cento Neo basket offers a balance of capacity and compact dimensions, making it practical for everyday urban use without adding excessive bulk. Its MultiSystem NX attachment enables straightforward mounting and removal on compatible racks, giving the rider flexibility to take the basket off when not needed. The sand colour provides a neutral, low-key appearance that pairs well with commuter bikes and low-maintenance finishes.

Suitable for

• Grocery shopping and market trips
• Daily commuting and transporting small work items
• Carrying a change of clothing or light personal gear
• Short errands and city-level cargo transport up to the basket's capacity

When it may not be suitable

This basket is intended for light to moderate loads and everyday items; it is not designed for heavy industrial cargo or very bulky items that exceed the 21-litre capacity. Bikes without a compatible rear rack or without a MultiSystem NX mounting interface will require a different mounting solution.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 21 litres
• Mounting: rear rack attachment via MultiSystem NX interface
• Intended fitment: standard rear luggage racks on commuter and city bikes
• Finish: sand (neutral tone)
• Design: open-top basket for easy access

How to use

Attach the Cento Neo basket to a compatible rear rack using the MultiSystem NX mounting on the underside of the basket and secure it according to the mounting hardware instructions supplied with the basket or rack. Place items in the open compartment, distributing weight evenly and avoiding overload beyond the rated capacity. Remove the basket by releasing the mounting catch when transport or storage without the basket is required.

What to consider before purchase

• Check that your bike has a compatible rear luggage rack and supports the MultiSystem NX attachment.
• Consider the 21L capacity in relation to the typical items you plan to carry.
• Assess whether the open-top design and sand colour meet your security and aesthetic needs.

Usage recommendations

Distribute loads evenly and secure smaller items in a liner or bag to prevent loss. For heavier or uneven loads, confirm rack load limits and fasten the basket and contents to avoid shifting while riding.
