2-way Speaker Behringer B215D 280W
The Behringer B215D 2-way speaker is an active PA loudspeaker rated at 280 W RMS with an 8 Ω impedance and a frequency response of 55–20000 Hz. Designed for floor, tabletop or stand use, this compact black enclosure (440 mm × 335 mm × 690 mm) integrates amplification and signal processing to provide a ready-to-use sound source for speech, music playback and live performance. The speaker runs on standard AC mains (240 V, 50 Hz) and features a lightweight design that balances portability with power output.
The integrated Class-D amplification and switch-mode power supply deliver a high power-to-weight ratio, reducing transport and setup effort without sacrificing output level. Built-in processing and protection manage crossover, limiting and high-pass filtering to preserve transducer integrity and reduce audible distortion at high levels. The trapezoidal cabinet allows flexible placement as a monitor or main speaker, and the compact dimensions make the unit suitable for small to medium venues and mobile setups.
Position the Behringer B215D on a stable surface, speaker stand or laid on its side for monitoring. Connect an audio source (microphone, mixer, MP3 player) to the appropriate input, set the LEVEL control to a low position before powering on, then adjust volume and the two-band EQ to taste. Use the LINK OUTPUT if you need to connect additional active speakers for extended coverage. Ensure mains voltage matches the unit specification before connecting to AC power.
For reliable operation and longevity, avoid prolonged clipping and extreme EQ boosts at high volume. Use the speaker’s built-in controls and keep the cabinet clear of obstructions over ports and drivers. When used on a stand, secure the speaker to a suitably rated pole and verify stable footing; when used as a monitor, angle the cabinet to the performer for clear onstage hearing. For stereo music playback or larger coverage, pair two units and use the LINK OUTPUT to synchronize sources.
