Bell Sixer MIPS-Equipped half helmet, in-mold construction, matte finish, visor
The Bell Sixer MIPS-Equipped half helmet is designed for urban and recreational cycling where compact, reliable protection is needed. It uses in-mold construction to fuse a lightweight outer shell with an energy-absorbing liner and includes MIPS rotational impact protection to reduce rotational forces during certain impacts. The helmet features a matte finish and a fixed visor to shield the face from sun and debris. Its design balances coverage and low profile for everyday commuting, city rides and light trail use.
In-mold construction provides integrated shell strength while keeping overall weight low. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is incorporated to help manage rotational forces that can occur in angled impacts. The visor offers additional eye protection from sun and roadside debris. The matte finish resists glare and gives a subdued look suitable for versatile urban and recreational use.
Place the helmet level on your head so it sits low on the forehead without tilting back. Adjust the retention system so the helmet fits snugly and remains stable during movement; straps should form a V under each ear and the chin strap should be secured with enough tension to allow one or two fingers between strap and chin. Ensure the visor is positioned to block sun and debris without obstructing vision. Check fit and straps before each ride and replace the helmet if it sustains a significant impact or shows visible damage.
Use the Bell Sixer MIPS-Equipped helmet for commuting, city riding and light off-road paths where a balance of protection, low weight and visor coverage is desired. Inspect the helmet regularly for wear, keep it clean with mild soap and water, and avoid using solvents or strong chemicals. Replace the helmet after a severe impact or after manufacturer-recommended service life.
