Bemko PG-11 Cable Gland, Grey, 100 Pieces
The Bemko PG-11 cable gland is a professional-grade component engineered to ensure secure and reliable cable entry into electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and control panels. Finished in a neutral grey color, this component provides essential strain relief for cables while maintaining a protective seal against dust and moisture ingress. This pack contains 100 pieces, making it an efficient solution for large-scale electrical projects in both industrial and residential environments.
This cable gland offers robust mechanical protection by preventing cables from being pulled out or damaged at the entry point. Its design facilitates a quick and secure installation process, ensuring that the integrity of the electrical enclosure is maintained over time. The durable material construction provides resistance to environmental factors, contributing to the longevity and safety of the electrical installation. By providing a tight seal, it effectively prevents contaminants from reaching sensitive electrical components, thereby reducing the risk of short circuits or equipment failure.
This product is designed specifically for PG-11 threaded openings and may not be compatible with enclosures requiring different thread standards or sizes. It is intended for standard environmental conditions and may not be suitable for high-pressure washdown areas or extreme chemical exposure environments where specialized industrial glands are required.
To install the cable gland, insert the threaded body through the pre-drilled hole in the enclosure wall and secure it firmly using the provided locknut from the inside. Once the gland is fixed, loosen the dome nut, insert the cable through the gland, and tighten the dome nut until the internal seal grips the cable jacket securely. This ensures both a firm hold on the cable and a moisture-resistant seal.
For optimal performance and safety, ensure the dome nut is tightened sufficiently to create a proper seal, but avoid overtightening which could damage the cable insulation or the gland threads.
