Bemko PG-36 Cable Gland, Grey, 20 Pieces
The Bemko PG-36 cable gland is a professional-grade component designed to provide secure cable entry, strain relief, and environmental protection for electrical enclosures and junction boxes. This set contains 20 pieces, offering a comprehensive solution for maintaining the integrity of electrical systems in industrial and commercial environments. Each gland is engineered to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture, ensuring that internal components remain protected while cables are firmly held in place.
These cable glands offer exceptional durability and reliability for demanding electrical installations. By providing a tight seal around the cable, they effectively prevent mechanical stress on terminal connections, which significantly reduces the risk of accidental disconnections or short circuits. The robust construction ensures long-term performance in various environmental conditions, making them a dependable choice for professionals who require consistent quality and ease of assembly in their electrical projects.
This product is specifically designed for PG-36 sized openings and may not be compatible with enclosures requiring different thread standards or sizes. It is intended for standard electrical applications and may not be suitable for high-pressure washdown environments or specialized hazardous areas requiring explosion-proof certification.
To install the cable gland, insert the threaded body through the pre-drilled hole in the enclosure wall and secure it firmly using the provided locknut from the inside. Once the body is fixed, loosen the dome nut, pass the cable through the gland, and tighten the dome nut until the internal seal compresses securely around the cable jacket. This process ensures a firm grip and a reliable seal against external contaminants.
For optimal performance and ingress protection, ensure that the dome nut is tightened sufficiently to compress the internal seal, but avoid overtightening which could damage the plastic threads. Regularly inspect the connections during routine maintenance to ensure the glands remain secure and the seals are intact.
