Product information

Description

BenQ MX808STH is a short-throw DLP projector designed for classrooms and lecture spaces. It delivers 3,600 ANSI lumens brightness and native XGA (1024x768) resolution, supports higher input resolutions up to WUXGA, and uses a single-lamp light source with BenQ SmartEco™ energy management. With a 0.61 short-throw ratio and 115% vertical offset, MX808STH enables large images at short distances while offering flexible installation and connectivity such as HDMI and RS-232.

Advantages

MX808STH combines high brightness, short-throw capability and DLP image quality to provide clear text and crisp images even in well-lit classrooms. The anti-dust accumulation sensor reduces IR interference and prolongs stable operation in dusty environments. PointWrite™ support and multi-touch interaction turn any projection surface into an interactive whiteboard, while QCast wireless dongle compatibility enables BYOD collaboration. SmartEco™ technology extends lamp life and lowers energy consumption, and digital shrink & shift together with a remote Quick Install hotkey simplify setup.

Suitable for

  • Primary and secondary school classrooms
  • Lecture halls and training rooms
  • Interactive lessons and collaborative activities
  • Rooms requiring large images at short throw distances

Connect a source via HDMI, enable PointWrite™ and connect the PointWrite™ kit via USB for interactive features, or plug in a QCast wireless dongle for BYOD streaming. Use the on-screen menu to fine-tune image size with digital shrink & shift and press the remote Quick Install hotkey for an assisted setup. For multi-touch interaction or dual-projection setups, follow the PointWrite™ calibration process which auto-calibrates when connected to a computer USB port.

Usage recommendations

To maintain stable performance, install the projector in a location with moderate airflow and perform periodic cleaning of intake filters. Use SmartEco™ modes to extend lamp life and enable Eco Blank when the screen is not in use.
