Product information

Description

The BenQ GP520 home entertainment projector adapts to your room using intelligent ambient adaptation and CinematicColor tuning. Integrated sensors detect environmental conditions in real time to optimize color, brightness and image settings for different wall colors and lighting conditions. With 2600 ANSI lumens, 4K HDR tone mapping and flexible placement options including multi-angle mounts, the GP520 supports large-screen projection from 50" to 180" and works with streaming services via Google TV.

Advantages

Automatic environmental sensing ensures accurate color and brightness without manual adjustment. The projector is optimized for the six most common wall colors and maintains consistent image quality at different projection distances. Built-in Google TV and Google Assistant provide direct access to major streaming platforms while HDMI 2.1 with ALLM and USB-C support low-latency gaming and device charging. Dual 12W speakers, Bluetooth 5.2 and Dolby Atmos via HDMI deliver flexible audio options.

Key specifications

  • Resolution and image tech: 4K HDR with advanced tone mapping (CinematicColor)
  • Screen size range: 50–180 inches
  • Connectivity: Dual HDMI 2.1, USB-C (display & charging), USB-A, Bluetooth 5.2

For streaming, sign in to Google TV and authorize required apps. The projector will automatically detect ambient light and wall color to optimize image settings; manual adjustments are optional through on-screen menus. For gaming, connect your console with HDMI 2.1 to enable ALLM and reduce input lag.

Recommendations

For best results, use a flat, light-colored surface or select the corresponding wall-color setting if projecting on colored walls; ensure adequate ventilation and place the projector at a distance that fits the intended screen size between 50" and 180".
