The be quiet! Pure Base 500 White Midi Tower is a compact, silence-oriented PC case that balances customizable airflow options with a neat, functional design. It supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and accommodates high-end graphics cards and large coolers while offering flexible top-cover choices for either quiet air-cooled or high-airflow water-cooled configurations.

Advantages

The case includes two preinstalled Pure Wings 2 140 mm fans with airflow-optimized blades for quiet, effective cooling and supports up to three additional 140 mm fans. Interchangeable top covers allow choosing between sound-dampened operation (regular top cover with insulation mat) and maximum airflow (high-performance meshed top cover). Noise-dampening mats on the front, sides and regular top cover plus removable dust filters improve acoustic performance and simplify maintenance. A PSU shroud with a double HDD cage reduces vibrations and keeps the interior tidy, while multiple mounting options allow installing up to five SSDs and up to two 3.5" drives.

How to use

Install the compatible motherboard (ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX) onto the standoffs, then mount the power supply from the rear onto the provided PSU bracket. Fit graphics cards and CPU coolers (up to 190 mm height) in the available internal space. Choose and attach the desired top cover: use the insulated regular top cover for quieter air-cooled setups or the high-performance meshed top cover for increased airflow in water-cooled or high-performance builds. Connect and route cables through the case routing channels and hide them beneath the PSU shroud to maintain airflow and a tidy interior. Use removable dust filters on the front and bottom for routine cleaning.

For the quietest operation, install the regular top cover and rely on the preinstalled 140 mm Pure Wings 2 fans; for maximum cooling performance with a radiator, replace the top cover with the high-performance mesh version and configure front and top fan/radiator placement accordingly.
