Product information

Description

The be quiet! Silent Base 802 White Midi Tower is a versatile PC case engineered for quiet operation and effective cooling. It supports Mini-ITX, Micro ATX, ATX and EATX motherboards and offers flexible drive and cooling options in a white steel and ABS body. The case includes three preinstalled Pure Wings 2 140 mm fans, interchangeable front panels and top covers for airflow-optimized or silence-optimized configurations, and a functional PSU shroud with removable cover plates to accommodate different radiator and fan layouts.

Advantages

The case combines strong noise damping with flexible cooling: extra-thick dampening mats on the front and sides, decoupled PSU bracket, motherboard tray and HDD cages reduce vibrations while the full metal body adds stability. Two interchangeable front panels and two top covers let you choose between maximum airflow for high-performance or a quieter setup. A front USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and an integrated 4-step fan controller support modern connectivity and manual fan speed management for up to six fans.

Suitable for

Silent home or office PCs where low noise is a priority
High-performance gaming or workstation builds requiring strong airflow or water cooling
Test bench setups thanks to the removable, decoupled motherboard tray

How to use

Install the motherboard according to its form factor and use the removable PSU bracket to mount the power supply from the rear. Choose and attach the appropriate front panel and top cover depending on whether you prioritise airflow or silence. Route cables beneath the PSU shroud and inside the case to keep the interior tidy; the shroud contains a double HDD cage and has detachable cover plates for additional fan or radiator installation. Connect fans to the integrated 4-step fan controller or to a PWM header for unified control.

Usage recommendations

For the quietest operation, fit the standard front panel and the sound-dampening top cover, use the fan controller to reduce fan speeds, and secure drives and PSU with the decoupling brackets to minimise vibration. For maximum cooling with water radiators, remove the small shroud cover or install a high-airflow front panel and use the air-permeable top cover.
