Beta Tools 96-SC9 Hex L-Type Allen Key Set 1.5-10mm 9 Pieces

The Beta Tools 96-SC9 Hex L-Type Allen Key Set 1.5-10mm 9 Pieces is a professional-grade tool collection engineered for precision and durability. Designed to handle demanding mechanical applications, maintenance tasks, and general assembly work, this 9-piece set provides reliable performance in workshops, garages, and service centers. Each key is shaped in a functional L-type configuration to facilitate both standard and high-torque fastening operations on hexagonal socket components.

Advantages

Constructed from high-quality materials, these Allen keys offer exceptional resistance to wear and tear, ensuring a long operational lifespan even under intensive professional usage. The precise manufacturing tolerances guarantee a snug, secure fit within fastener heads, effectively reducing the risk of slipping or rounding out screw recesses. The comprehensive size range accommodates various metric fasteners commonly found in modern machinery and equipment, while the ergonomic L-shape design allows users to leverage either the short or long arm for optimal torque application or speed.

Suitable for

• Assembly and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery
• Automotive repairs and general workshop servicing
• Tightening and loosening hexagonal socket fasteners
• DIY projects and furniture assembly

When it may not be suitable

This tool set may not be suitable for working with non-hexagonal fasteners or applications requiring specialized Torx, Phillips, or slotted screwdriver bits. Additionally, tasks demanding insulated tools for high-voltage electrical work require alternative equipment.

Key specifications

• Set includes 9 pieces
• Size range from 1.5 mm to 10 mm
• L-type configuration
• Designed for hexagonal socket fasteners

How to use

Select the appropriate key size matching the hexagonal socket fastener. Insert the tool fully into the screw head to ensure maximum engagement and prevent slippage. Use the short arm of the L-key when applying higher torque in restricted spaces, or utilize the long arm to gain extra reach and faster rotational speed during initial threading or removal.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your fasteners require metric hex sizes within the 1.5 mm to 10 mm range
• Assess the need for standard L-type keys versus ball-end variants depending on your workspace accessibility

Usage recommendations: Keep the Allen keys clean and dry after use to prevent premature wear. Store them securely in their designated holder to avoid loss of individual pieces.
