Brikka is a stovetop coffee maker designed to reproduce an Italian-style espresso with a rich body and lasting creaminess. It uses a silicone membrane technology combined with traditional moka principles to produce a concentrated, full-flavoured coffee. The unit includes Bialetti’s patented safety valve and an ergonomic handle for comfortable handling.

How to use

Fill the lower chamber with cold water using the supplied graduated measuring cup. Insert the funnel filter and add ground coffee for moka without tamping and avoid leaving grounds on the rim. Screw the upper chamber onto the heater securely but without excessive force. Place the coffee maker on the heat source; if using an open flame, ensure the flame does not extend beyond the unit rim, and on electric or ceramic plates avoid the highest heat setting. After a few minutes a small amount of coffee will begin to flow and you will hear the characteristic Brikka puff that signals crema formation. When froth formation in the upper chamber is complete, pour the coffee into cups, distributing coffee and crema evenly.
