Self-adhesive acoustic foam mat Bitmat DNA AMR1 (gray)
Bitmat DNA AMR1 (gray) is a self-adhesive acoustic foam mat designed to reduce airborne noise, structure-borne vibrations and resonance in confined spaces. The mat adheres directly to clean, dry surfaces, allowing quick retrofit or factory installation without additional adhesives. Its compact form factor and flexible foam enable use on doors, panels, equipment housings and interior surfaces where improved acoustic comfort and reduced reverberation are required.
The self-adhesive backing simplifies installation by eliminating separate glue application and reduces installation time. The foam composition provides effective damping of mid and high-frequency noise and reduces vibration transmission through thin panels. Its gray finish offers a neutral appearance for visible applications while remaining flexible enough to conform to curved or uneven surfaces. The mat is lightweight, cuttable to size and suitable for both spot and full-surface application.
Prepare the surface by cleaning it from dust, oils and loose particles and ensure it is fully dry. Measure and cut the Bitmat DNA AMR1 mat to the required dimensions, remove the protective liner from the adhesive side and press the mat firmly onto the surface, working from one edge to avoid air pockets. For best results, apply consistent pressure across the mat and allow a short settling period before subjecting the treated area to mechanical stress or moisture exposure. Overlapping edges is not required if pieces are cut to fit tightly.
For durable adhesion, avoid applying the mat to surfaces with heavy contaminants, loose paint or silicone residues. Use in ambient temperatures recommended for pressure-sensitive adhesives (moderate temperatures) and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight on the adhesive side before installation. When treating vibrating metal panels, combine with structural bracing if extreme damping is required.
