POS printer BIXOLON SRP-Q302K
The BIXOLON SRP-Q302K is a compact 3" (80 mm) direct thermal receipt and ticket printer designed for mPOS environments. With a front-exit paper path and a small footprint, it fits on crowded counters and integrates with modern mobile point-of-sale setups. The SRP-Q302K offers a maximum print speed of 220 mm/s and a print resolution of 203 x 203 dpi to produce clear text, graphics, 1D and 2D barcodes and QR codes. The printer supports 80 mm paper rolls with a maximum roll diameter of 80 mm and accepts media with thickness between 0.062 and 0.075 µm. Its autocutter is rated for up to 1.5 million cuts.
The SRP-Q302K combines compact dimensions and front-exit printing to save counter space while delivering fast direct thermal printing at 220 mm/s and 203 dpi resolution. Built-in support for 1D and 2D barcodes and a durable autocutter (1.5 million cuts) make it suitable for continuous retail and hospitality usage. Multiple connectivity options and compatibility with mobile operating systems simplify integration with mPOS systems.
Install the SRP-Q302K on a stable surface with the front-exit oriented toward the customer area. Load an 80 mm thermal paper roll into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and exits cleanly through the front. Connect the printer to power and to your POS host via the available LAN interface or supported mobile connections. For Android devices, use the BIXOLON Q300 Utility application to perform initial setup and configuration; the Q300 Utility supports Android OS 3.1 and higher and simplifies Bluetooth/WLAN pairing when applicable. After setup, verify paper feed and perform a test print to confirm correct operation.
Use thermal paper within the specified thickness range and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources to preserve print quality. Schedule periodic checks of the autocutter and paper path to remove debris and ensure reliable operation in high-volume environments.
