The Bixolon XD5-40d is a compact 4-inch (118 mm) direct thermal desktop label and barcode printer designed for mid-level industrial and commercial labelling tasks. With a clamshell design and enhanced memory (up to 256 MB SDRAM and 256 MB Flash), the XD5-40d delivers print speeds up to 178 mm/sec (7 ips) at a 203 x 203 dpi resolution. It supports multiple media types and is available with optional accessories such as a peeler, auto cutter and external paper supply. Standard connectivity includes dual USB 2.0 and USB Host, with optional interfaces including Ethernet, serial, Dual-WLAN and Dual-Bluetooth.
