Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini PRO is a compact Full HD video switcher designed for live streaming and multi-camera productions. It supports up to 1920x1080 resolution and offers four standards-converted HDMI inputs, USB webcam output, HDMI program output and Ethernet for direct streaming. The switcher includes an integrated Fairlight audio mixer with EQ and dynamics, a DVE for picture-in-picture, transition effects, green screen chroma key and a 20-slot media pool for still titles. The unit also provides direct recording to USB flash disks in H.264 and a multiview with camera sources, media, preview, program and status indicators for recording, streaming and audio.

How to use

Connect up to four HDMI cameras or sources to the HDMI inputs, connect an HDMI monitor to the program output and plug a USB drive for recording into the USB port. Connect the Ethernet port to the network for direct streaming and set streaming details in the ATEM Software Control or on-device if available. Use the hardware controls or ATEM Software Control to switch sources, apply transitions, enable chroma key for green screen and set up picture-in-picture with the DVE. Adjust audio levels and apply EQ or dynamics in the Fairlight mixer before recording or streaming.

Usage recommendations

For stable live streams, use a wired Ethernet connection at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s and reliable USB 3.0 flash disks formatted to a compatible file system. Prepare titles and stills in advance in the 20-slot media pool and test audio levels and chroma key settings before going live.
