PowerWalker VI 800 SCL UPS Line-Interactive 0.8 kVA 480 W
PowerWalker VI 800 SCL UPS Line-Interactive 0.8 kVA 480 W
The PowerWalker VI 800 SCL is a line-interactive UPS with 0.8 kVA (480 W) output designed for PCs and home applications. It features a compact tower form factor, an LCD touch panel for monitoring key parameters and a microprocessor-controlled Automatic Voltage Regulator that switches to boost and buck modes to stabilize input voltage. The unit supports cold start and charges internal batteries while in standby. It includes a USB port with HID support for monitoring via PowerWalker ViewPower software or native OS drivers. The UPS is supplied without a software CD or USB cable to reduce environmental impact.
The UPS provides regulated power through an Automatic Voltage Regulator to protect connected equipment from voltage fluctuations. The built-in LCD touch panel makes it easy to view operating status and monitored parameters. Cold start capability allows the unit to be powered directly from the battery when mains are unavailable. USB HID support enables straightforward monitoring and control without additional drivers. Its compact black tower design fits home and small office environments.
Place the UPS on a stable, ventilated surface near the equipment to be protected. Connect your devices to the appropriate output sockets (available in Type F, Type E or Type G variants). Charge the internal battery before first use or allow it to reach full charge after installation; the battery recharges automatically in standby. Use the touch panel to view status and navigate monitored parameters. For advanced monitoring or logging, connect the UPS to a computer via USB and use the PowerWalker ViewPower software or the operating system’s native HID support.
To maintain battery life, keep the UPS in a cool, dry location and perform periodic battery checks. Avoid connecting loads that exceed the 480 W output rating and detach non-essential devices during extended power outages to preserve runtime.
