Product information

Description

The PowerWalker VI 600 MS is a line-interactive UPS with 0.6 kVA (360 W) output designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment in home and office environments. It provides eight Type F AC outlets, of which four offer battery backup for critical loads and four provide bypass power for non-critical devices. The unit includes AVR to stabilize voltage during fluctuations, a USB communication interface (HID or software) for monitoring and control, a 2.1 A USB charging port and a rear-accessible battery compartment for easy replacement.

Advantages

The VI 600 MS delivers uninterrupted power to essential devices while allowing less-critical equipment to remain on bypass outlets, improving overall energy management. Integrated AVR maintains clean, stable output during voltage drops or spikes. USB connectivity enables monitoring and safe shutdown via software or basic HID communication. The compact, black enclosure supports desktop placement or wall mounting and offers straightforward battery replacement through the back panel.

Suitable for

  • Home office workstations and PCs
  • Network-attached storage (NAS) devices
  • Modems, routers and small network equipment
  • Peripherals and low-power home electronics

Key specifications

  • Output power capacity: 0.6 kVA
  • Output power: 360 W
  • AC outlets: 8 Type F (4 battery backup + 4 bypass)
  • Battery: 12 V, 7 Ah (rear-accessible compartment)
  • Typical backup time at full load: 0.1 min
  • USB communication: HID and software support
  • USB charging port: 2.1 A
  • Cooling: passive
  • Weight: 4.4 kg
  • Colour: Black

How to use

Place the UPS on a stable surface or mount it on a wall according to the included instructions. Connect critical devices to the four battery-backed AC outlets and non-critical devices to the four bypass outlets. Connect the UPS to mains power and ensure the battery is properly installed in the rear compartment. Use the USB connection to a computer when monitoring or configuring shutdown settings with compatible software; if no software is used, the UPS will still communicate via HID for basic status reporting.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, keep the UPS in a ventilated area with ambient temperatures within the manufacturer’s specified range, perform periodic battery checks, and replace the 12 V 7 Ah battery when capacity noticeably decreases. Avoid overloading the unit beyond its 360 W rating and connect high-priority equipment to the battery-backed outlets.
