How to use

Mark the centre of the required opening and secure the workpiece if possible. Fit the hole saw to a drill via a compatible arbor (Bosch Power Change keyless arbor if available) and set the drill to an appropriate speed for the material. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed as recommended for the substrate while maintaining steady pressure. After cutting, stop the drill and remove the saw; use the Power Change feature or the arbor mechanism to eject the plug safely. Inspect the edge of the hole and deburr if necessary.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and gloves, and secure loose workpieces. Match drill speed to material: lower speeds for metals, higher speeds for wood and plastics. Allow the saw to cool between extended cuts to preserve the cobalt-alloy teeth, and replace the arbor or pilot bit when worn to maintain accurate cutting.
