How to use

Connect the lavalier microphone’s 3.5 mm male plug to the female connector on the adapter cable, then plug the Lightning connector into your iOS device. Clip the microphone to clothing near the speaker’s mouth and position it to minimise clothing noise. Use the recording app on your device to monitor levels and start recording. The detachable design also allows connecting other 3.5 mm TRS devices to the included Lightning adapter.

Usage recommendations

For best results, place the lavalier microphone 15–25 cm from the speaker’s mouth, avoid rubbing against fabric, and check audio levels before important recordings. When using with non-iOS equipment, ensure the connected device uses a TRS output compatible with the BY-M2.
