Lavalier Microphone BOYA BY-WM3T
The BOYA BY-WM3T is a compact 2.4GHz dual-channel wireless lavalier microphone system designed for clear, reliable audio capture in interviews, vlogging, presentations and mobile video production. The system includes compact camera-mount receiver and two transmitters with omnidirectional lavalier capsules. It supports automatic pairing on power-up, offers up to 100 m wireless range and delivers a wide 20–20,000 Hz frequency response. With low total harmonic distortion and an 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio, the BY-WM3T provides clean audio suitable for content creators and field recording. The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries provide extended operation for long shoots, and the small receiver dimensions make it easy to mount to cameras or carry in a bag.
The dual-channel design allows recording from two transmitters simultaneously, eliminating the need to switch microphones during interviews or multi-subject shoots. Omnidirectional capsules capture sound evenly from all directions, reducing sensitivity to precise microphone placement while maintaining natural timbre. Low total harmonic distortion (0.01%) and an 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio ensure accurate sound reproduction and minimal noise. Automatic pairing simplifies setup, while the compact receiver and long battery life support mobile workflows and extended recording sessions.
Attach the compact receiver to your camera or mount it near your recording device using the provided clip or shoe adapter. Clip the lavalier microphones to the subjects’ clothing and position them approximately 15–20 cm from the mouth for clear capture. Power on transmitters and receiver; units pair automatically. Monitor audio levels on your camera or external recorder and adjust gain as needed to avoid clipping. For indoor or noisy environments, enable noise cancellation and, if available, switch to 48 kHz HD audio for improved fidelity. After recording, switch off devices and recharge the built-in batteries using the supplied cable.
For best results, maintain line-of-sight between transmitters and receiver when possible, avoid placing transmitters under thick clothing that can muffle sound, and test levels before important takes. Use wind protection outdoors and enable noise cancellation for challenging acoustic conditions. Regularly recharge batteries before long sessions to ensure uninterrupted operation.
