Screw (Worm Gear) hose clamp BRADAS BSW2 40–60 mm, stainless steel
Screw (worm gear) hose clamp BRADAS BSW2 40–60 mm is a stainless steel clamp designed to secure hoses, pipes and ducting with an adjustable clamping range of 40–60 mm. Manufactured to ISO9001-aligned quality standards, the clamp provides corrosion resistance and repeated tightening capability for plumbing, automotive, HVAC and general repair tasks.
The BRADAS BSW2 clamp has a worm-gear screw mechanism that allows precise adjustment and reliable retention. Its stainless steel construction increases durability and resistance to corrosive environments, while the specially shaped band and housing minimise the risk of damaging the hose during installation and tightening.
This clamp is intended for hose diameters within the 40–60 mm range; it will not fit hoses outside that clamping range. For applications requiring extremely high torque or vibration-resistant locking, alternative clamp types with locking features or larger profiles may be more appropriate.
Place the clamp over the hose end and slide the hose onto the fitting or pipe. Position the clamp so the band sits evenly over the hose and the screw housing is accessible. Tighten the worm-gear screw with a screwdriver or nut driver until the clamp compresses the hose to form a secure, leak-free connection. Avoid over-tightening to prevent deformation of the hose.
For best performance, install clamps on clean hose and fitting surfaces, position clamps over the barb or fitting ridge where applicable, and inspect periodically for corrosion or loosening in long-term or vibration-prone installations.
