Brady MB300YMCKO/3 Color Ribbon 300 Prints

The Brady MB300YMCKO/3 Color Ribbon is a high-performance consumable designed specifically for ID card printers. Engineered to deliver exceptional print quality, this colour ribbon produces up to 300 high-resolution full-colour prints per roll. It is an essential supply for organizations requiring reliable, sharp, and durable card personalization.

Advantages

This colour ribbon ensures consistent and professional results, bringing out vibrant images and crisp text on every printed card. The integrated YMCKO panel configuration allows for full-colour printing combined with a protective overlay layer in a single pass, which enhances the longevity of the cards by protecting them against everyday wear, fading, and scratching. Designed for seamless printer compatibility and straightforward installation, it minimizes operational downtime and maximizes efficiency during large print runs.

Suitable for

• Printing employee identification cards
• Creating secure access control badges
• Producing professional membership and loyalty cards
• Personalizing visitor passes

When it may not be suitable

This ribbon is not suitable for monochrome-only printing tasks where single-color text or simple barcodes are required, as using a full-color ribbon for such jobs would be inefficient. Additionally, it is not compatible with printer models from manufacturers other than the specified brand or printers that do not support the MB300YMCKO/3 ribbon format.

Key specifications

• Ribbon type: Full-color YMCKO (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black, Overlay)
• Print capacity: Up to 300 prints per roll
• Application: ID card personalization and badge printing

How to use

To use the ribbon, open your compatible ID card printer and remove the spent ribbon cassette according to the manufacturer guidelines. Insert the new Brady MB300YMCKO/3 ribbon into the designated slots, ensuring it is properly seated and the spools are secure. Close the printer cover and run a test print or align the ribbon if prompted by your printer software before starting your main print job.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your specific ID card printer model is compatible with the MB300YMCKO/3 ribbon series
• Estimate your daily or monthly card printing volume to ensure the 300-print capacity meets your operational requirements
• Store unused ribbons in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve print quality

Usage recommendations: Handle the ribbon by its edges and avoid touching the glossy printing surface to prevent oils from your skin affecting print quality. Store spare ribbons in an environment with stable temperature and humidity to ensure optimal performance over time.
