Tamper-evident VOID pattern label, Brady VOID Pattern Tamper Evident

Tamper-evident VOID pattern label from Brady is designed to provide clear visual indication of attempted removal or interference. When the label is peeled from a surface, it leaves a permanent VOID pattern on the substrate, making tampering immediately apparent. The label is intended for use where authentication and tamper detection are required, such as on warranty seals, access panels, electronic enclosures and sealed shipments.

Advantages

The VOID pattern label creates an irreversible, high-contrast indication of removal by depositing a VOID residue on the surface, reducing the risk of undetected tampering. Its adhesive is formulated to bond securely to common packaging and enclosure materials while ensuring the VOID message remains legible after attempted removal. The label’s simple application and unmistakable visual result support straightforward inspection procedures and inventory control without the need for special tools.

Suitable for

• Sealing warranty stickers and product guarantee labels
• Securing access panels, cabinets and enclosures
• Protecting electronic equipment and components
• Sealing packages, parcels and shipping containers

Key specifications

• Tamper-evident design: VOID residue left on substrate when removed
• Adhesive: high-bond formulation for reliable attachment to common surfaces
• Visual indicator: high-contrast VOID pattern for easy inspection
• Material: pressure-sensitive label material suitable for packaging and enclosure surfaces

How to use

Clean and dry the application surface to remove dust, oil and loose particles. Peel the label from its backing and apply with firm pressure to ensure full contact and adhesive wet-out. Allow the adhesive to set as recommended for the substrate; inspection is then possible by observing the intact label or the VOID residue if the label has been removed. For best results, avoid applying to heavily textured or damp surfaces.

Usage recommendations

Use the labels on clean, non-porous or lightly textured surfaces and press firmly during application. For critical seals, perform a test application on the actual substrate to confirm adhesion and VOID visibility before full deployment. Store unused labels in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive performance.
