The Braun RangeFinder 1000WH is a compact laser rangefinder designed for precise long-distance measurement up to 1000 meters. It combines 6x optics with electronic tilt compensation to provide distance, angle, height and speed readings. The device is splash-proof, lightweight and intended for use in activities such as agriculture, construction, hunting, golf, hiking and sport shooting.

The RangeFinder 1000WH offers fast, reliable measurements with a measurement range of 4–1000 m and an accuracy of ±1 m. Tilt compensation allows display of horizontal distance when measuring uphill or downhill. A dedicated fog mode reduces interference from atmospheric conditions. How to use

Hold the rangefinder to your eye, aim at the target and press the measurement button to record distance. Use the menu switch to select the desired mode (distance, flagpole, golf correction, fog, horizontal/vertical measurement or speed). When measuring on slopes, enable tilt compensation to obtain horizontal distance. Use fog mode when visibility is reduced to minimise measurement errors. Replace the CR2 battery when the display indicates low power.

Recommendations

For best results, keep the objective lens clean and stable while measuring. Use the appropriate mode for the situation (golf correction for green and pin distance, flagpole for fixed reflectors, fog mode in misty conditions). Store the device in a dry place and avoid immersion in water despite its splash-proof rating.
