How to use

Place the microscope on a stable, level surface and connect the power supply for the halogen lamp. Start with the lowest magnification and focus the specimen using coarse and fine focus controls. Rotate objective turret to select higher magnifications as needed. For oil-immersion at 100×, place a drop of the supplied immersion oil on the cover slip and carefully bring the 100× objective into position, then fine-focus. Adjust lamp intensity with the dimmer to achieve optimal contrast.

Usage recommendations

Handle retractable objectives gently and always retract them when moving or storing the microscope. Use the included immersion oil only with the 100× oil-immersion objective and clean the objective and cover slips after use. Allow the halogen lamp to cool before replacing it.
