Heat-shrinkable Tube Cabletech CB-HFT Ø4.5 mm Black, 1 m is a halogen-free, flexible heat-shrink tube with a nominal diameter of 4.5 mm and 1 m length. It is designed to insulate and protect cable joints, connectors and wiring from abrasion, moisture and light mechanical stress, providing a reliable shrink fit when heated and suitable for environments where halogen-free materials are required.

Advantages

The CB-HFT tube is flame-resistant up to 125°C, meets VW-1 flammability standards and offers radial shrinkage of at least 50% with shrinkage starting at 90°C. How to use

Cut the required length of the CB-HFT tube, slide it over the cable joint or connector and apply heat evenly using a heat gun, lighter with care, or other controlled heat source until the tube shrinks and conforms to the substrate. Allow the tube to cool to room temperature before handling to ensure a secure fit and stable insulation.

Usage recommendations

For best results, heat the tube uniformly from one end to the other and avoid concentrated high-temperature spots. Use a temperature-controlled heat gun where possible and select a tube diameter that provides sufficient shrinkage over the target cable or connector.
