Accessory Straps Calumet CORE for Backpacks, Black, 2 pcs

Calumet CORE accessory straps for backpacks, supplied as a pair in black, are designed to provide a simple and reliable method for fastening additional gear to camera and travel backpacks. Made to secure items such as tripods, light stands, rolled jackets or similar accessories, these straps offer adjustable length and strong closure to keep equipment stable during transport.

Advantages

These accessory straps combine adjustable fastening and robust webbing to create a compact attachment solution for a range of outdoor and photography accessories. The neutral black finish integrates with most backpacks and gear, while the pair configuration lets you attach two items or distribute load for improved stability. The straps are lightweight and unobtrusive when not in use yet provide firm hold when tightened.

Suitable for

• Securing tripods or monopods to the outside of a backpack
• Attaching light stands, compact reflectors or similar long items
• Fastening rolled clothing, sleeping mats or camping gear to pack exterior
• Organizing additional camera accessories or cables on travel bags

When it may not be suitable

These straps are intended for general accessory attachment and are not a replacement for purpose-built mounting systems that require specific clamps or dedicated tripod mounts. They are not designed to carry very heavy or sharp-edged loads without additional protection or reinforcement.

Key specifications

• Quantity: 2 pieces
• Color: Black
• Material type: durable woven webbing with secure buckle closure
• Adjustability: adjustable length to accommodate various item sizes
• Primary use: external attachment and stabilization of accessories on backpacks

How to use

Thread the strap around the accessory and the pack attachment point, then feed the strap through the buckle and pull to tighten until the item is secure. For long items such as tripods, position the item along the pack’s back or side and use both straps to prevent rotation; for rolled clothing or mats use a flat contact area to minimize slippage. Check tension periodically during transport and retighten if needed.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended load: suitable for light to medium-weight accessories, not heavy-duty loads
• Attachment points: ensure your backpack has loops, daisy chains or straps where these can be routed
• Item shape: flat or cylindrical items work best when the strap can be tightened evenly

Usage recommendations

Use two straps for long or tall items to distribute strain and reduce movement. Inspect the webbing and buckles before each trip and avoid exposing the straps to cutting edges or chemically aggressive substances.
