Calumet CORE Divider Strap Grey — Calumet camera bag divider strap, adjustable fastening

The Calumet CORE Divider Strap Grey is an adjustable accessory strap designed to secure padded dividers and small equipment inside camera bags and cases. It provides a simple solution for stabilising inserts and preventing internal movement during transport, helping to protect cameras, lenses and accessories from impacts and friction inside the bag. The strap is compatible with most soft and semi-rigid camera bag interiors and is intended for quick retrofitting of internal organisation.

Advantages

This grey divider strap offers an adjustable fastening that can be tightened or loosened to hold dividers, small pouches or lightweight gear securely in place. Its slim profile minimises space usage while adding stabilisation; the neutral grey finish integrates unobtrusively with most bag interiors. The strap is easy to install and reconfigure, allowing photographers to adapt their internal layout without tools.

Suitable for

• Photographers who use padded dividers to organise camera bags
• Users needing to retrofit or improve internal bag organisation quickly
• Transporting small accessories such as batteries, memory cards, filters or cables
• Lightweight camera kits where additional internal stabilisation is required

When it may not be suitable

This strap is intended for securing dividers and small equipment and is not designed to replace heavy-duty straps or external bag harnesses. It may be less effective with very heavy equipment, oversized rigid cases, or in bags that lack attachment points for internal fastening. For users requiring full shockproof mounting or load-bearing support, purpose-built mounting systems are more appropriate.

Key specifications

• Colour: Grey
• Adjustable fastening for variable tension
• Suitable for use with padded dividers and small accessories
• Slim profile to minimise internal space usage
• Material: durable webbing with fastening mechanism (hook/loop or buckle type)

How to use

Wrap the Calumet CORE Divider Strap around the padded divider or accessory you want to stabilise and secure the fastening to achieve the desired tension. Position the divider inside the bag and adjust the strap so the insert is held firmly against the bag interior or neighbouring dividers. Re-adjust tension as needed when changing kit layout or adding equipment. The strap can be unfastened and removed quickly for cleaning or when not required.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify internal bag dimensions and divider thickness to ensure the strap can reach and secure your inserts
• Consider the weight and size of items to be secured—this strap is optimised for small to medium accessories, not heavy gear
• Check whether your bag has suitable attachment points or space to route the strap effectively

Usage recommendations

Use the strap to reduce internal movement during transit and to keep frequently used accessories accessible. When packing fragile items, combine the strap with padded dividers and wrap items individually to enhance protection. Periodically inspect the fastening for wear and replace if tension retention decreases.
