Calumet Quick-Link Connector Set by Calumet, model CALSSTQL-CS4 — metal camera rig connectors set

Calumet Quick-Link Connector Set (model CALSSTQL-CS4) is a metal connector kit created for camera rigs, strap systems and accessory attachment. The set includes multiple quick-link connectors engineered to provide dependable mechanical connections between cages, rigs, straps, belts and other camera accessories. The metal construction emphasises durability and stable performance when mounting or reconfiguring camera gear on location or in the studio.

Advantages

The Calumet Quick-Link Connector Set delivers secure link points that are simple to open and close, combining ease of use with mechanical reliability. Its metal construction resists deformation under load, while the compact form factor keeps connectors unobtrusive on rigs and straps. The kit offers quick reconfiguration possibilities for multi-camera setups and accessory changes without the need for specialised tools.

Suitable for

• Attaching camera straps, harnesses and shoulder rigs
• Securing accessories to camera cages and ARCA-compatible plates
• Temporary or semi-permanent linking of small support accessories (lights, monitors, microphones)
• Field adjustments where a robust, repeatable mechanical connection is required

When it may not be suitable

This connector set is intended for small- to medium-load camera accessories and should not be used as the primary safety attachment for heavy loads or for suspending large equipment. It is not a substitute for certified load-bearing hardware intended for overhead rigging or climbing and should not be used in those applications.

Key specifications

• Material: metal construction for durability and wear resistance
• Connector type: quick-link style for rapid opening and closing
• Compatibility: designed for camera rigs, straps, cages and accessory mounts
• Finish: corrosion-resistant surface treatment suitable for regular use
• Form factor: compact, low-profile connectors for minimal interference with gear

How to use

Open the quick-link by rotating or unlocking its closure mechanism, pass the connector through the strap loop, cage anchor point or accessory eyelet, then close and secure the closure until it is fully fastened. For multi-component setups, route connectors so that load is borne along the strongest structural points of rigs or cages. Periodically inspect closures and contact surfaces for wear and correct tightening before each use.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended load: verify connectors match the expected load of accessories and mounting points
• Compatibility with your rig or strap attachment points and hole sizes
• Environmental exposure: consider corrosion resistance if used in humid or marine environments
• Number of connectors included versus the number required for your setup

Usage recommendations

Use the Calumet Quick-Link Connector Set for routine accessory attachment, quick reconfiguration and secondary security points. Avoid using them as sole safety devices for heavy or suspended loads; combine with appropriate certified hardware where required, and perform regular inspections for wear and secure closure.
