The Canon MAXIFY MB5150 is a heavy-duty multifunction inkjet device combining colour printing, scanning, copying and faxing for small offices. It delivers high-quality mono and colour output with a maximum print resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi and an optical scanning resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. The series offers fast mono print speeds of up to 24 ipm and a first page out time of around 6 seconds, along with network and mobile/cloud connectivity for flexible workflows.

Advantages

Marker- and friction-resistant DRHD pigment inks produce crisp text, strong blacks and reliable colour reproduction. The device is economical to run with individually replaceable cartridges (black ISO yield approx. 2,500 pages; colour cartridges approx. 1,500 pages) and low energy consumption (TEC 0.2 kWh). A large 3.5" TFT colour touchscreen, a 250-sheet input tray and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder support continuous office use, while single-pass duplex scanning and automatic double-sided printing improve productivity.

How to use

Connect the MAXIFY MB5150 to your office network via Ethernet or Wireless LAN, or use Access Point mode for direct mobile connections. Install the supplied ink cartridges and load paper into the 250-sheet tray. Use the 3.5" TFT touchscreen to select print, copy, scan or fax functions. For scanning, place originals in the 50-sheet automatic document feeder for single-pass duplex scans or use the platen for single sheets. Configure mobile printing through the Canon PRINT app or enable AirPrint, Mopria or cloud services to print and scan from mobile devices and cloud accounts.

Usage recommendations

To maintain print quality and minimise interruptions, use genuine Canon DRHD pigment inks, keep firmware up to date via network management tools, and monitor cartridge and maintenance status with SNMP or the device interface.
