CANSON Montval art paper pad contains 12 sheets of 300 g/m² white, acid-free paper in A4 format (210 x 297 mm). Developed from the original Montval paper designed by painter Gaspard Maillol and produced by Canson, this pad is intended for watercolour, gouache and mixed-media techniques. The fine surface preserves pigments, resists buckling and allows corrections: water can be used to clean areas with a sponge or brush so the sheet can be worked again. The pad format with spiral binding and micro-perforation makes it convenient for studies, classroom use and sketching.

Advantages

The paper offers strong erasability for water-based media, permitting local cleaning and reworking without leaving visible traces of previous washes. At 300 g/m² the sheets are sturdy enough to limit buckling with washes and maintain pigment quality.
